Completing the Social Tides Program with a Great Event in Paris
Over the past 9 months, Dycle had the privilege of participating in the Social Tides program (socialtides.eu), a Europe-wide initiative supporting early-stage social entrepreneurs who are creating positive change in their communities. The program is led by INCO, a global organization focused on inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and supported by Google.org.
Together with 32 other inspiring founders from across Europe, we took part in a series of online workshops on topics essential to growing social impact initiatives. These included communication strategies, measuring impact, team building and hiring, online marketing, and other core areas for building strong, mission-driven ventures. It was incredibly rewarding to meet like-minded changemakers and to learn how social entrepreneurship is being practiced in different contexts around the continent.
A special event in Paris
On May 31st, 2023, we had the opportunity to meet many of them in person at Impact², a major international event on social and environmental innovation, also organized by INCO. Held in the beautiful and historic Town Hall of Paris, the event brought together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and business leaders committed to shaping a fairer, greener economy.
As part of the day’s program, six female founders from the Social Tides cohort were invited to a special lunch with the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, along with representatives from leading companies and institutions. During both the lunch and the main stage event in the evening, the six founders presented their initiatives in a short but powerful pitch session.
We were especially proud that our very own Ayumi Matsuzaka was one of the selected women to represent her project on this prestigious stage.
