Be part of it: Diaper Cycle Pankow Summer/Autumn 2017

Tuesday, 15. August 2017 - 19:00 to 21:00

Dear parents,

are you looking for an eco-friendly alternative to disposable baby diapers? Would you like to get involved with a project where soiled diapers are turned into fertile soil?

We want you and your babys in Pankow for our project "DYCLE - Good soil instead of diaper waste"

This late summer, most probably during September, we want to use 100% bio based baby diapers. They will be collected and turned into hygienic and fertile humus so new trees and plant can grow. Nutrients from the baby's droppings are not wasted but re-routed into the cycle of nature. You will get a portion of this soil next year for your garden or balcony. The project group meets once a week at the collection point in Pankow - not only for dropping of collected material, but also for exchange.

Target group: families with babys up to 1 year

If you want to join, please write us at: dycle.pankow@dycle.org

Apart from using those diaper inlays, are you interested to make those diapers by yourself? Or just see how they are made? Great! Please mark the coming Saturdays, 2., and 16. of September. We will inform you about the place and exact times.

Our concept has received several awards and recognition in Germany and abroad. In order to make a steps from utopia towards a daily routine we need you, parents! Be part of it! Tell it to your friends and other families that you know.

If your are interested, please contact us at: dycle.pankow@dycle.org

You don't live in Berlin or not in the district of Pankow? Stay informed and register for our Humusletter or visit us on Facebook.

We are looking forward to hear from you!
